# 1 Find A Diet Plan
It’s entirely possible that you’re going to the gym and working out consistently without seeing any noticeable results in your abs. The reason for this might not be related to your workouts, but instead your diet. Heck, you might even have solid abs just hidden under your stomach fat. And, no amount of lifting is going to change that.
To lower your body fat, you’re going to have to seriously watch what you eat so that your abs begin to show. Most diet plans will have you eating many small meals throughout the day to keep your metabolism constantly active. So while you’re looking for diet plans, don’t dismiss the ones with six meals. These are going to be small meals that may end up totaling less food than you currently eat.
